Lisa is a seasoned lawyer who has been in practice since 2010. She is committed to delivering practical legal services for fair prices.
Before law school, Lisa earned a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science at the University of Calgary. This left a lasting impression and love for those issues that we face as a digital and modern post-industrial society; communicating through social media, privacy considerations, and protecting digital property interests.
Lisa attended law school at the University of Saskatchewan where she earned a Juris Doctor degree with Distinction in 2009. She was called to the Alberta Bar in 2010, and before joining 20/20 Law Group gained experience in real estate and litigation.
At 20/20 Law Group, Lisa focused on supporting corporate clients with all aspects of their needs, and became a Registered Trademark Agent. This required working with an existing Registered Trademark Agent for two years, and then passing a 6-hour written exam which was administered annually by CIPO at that time, and which carried a historical pass rate of only about 26% on average.
In 2018, Lisa took over 20/20 Law Group, and has seen the business and its clients through unprecedented change, including those very challenging years which started in 2020.
When Lisa is not supporting her clients and her team, she can be found at home with her husband and two daughters, likely with her nose in a book.
