The Legal Incubator

The 2020 Law Group is looking for experienced lawyers who have more work than they can handle or are working more hours than they want.

We are also looking for junior lawyers with a small practice who are eager to work and who want to build their practice.

The goal for the legal incubator is for the senior lawyers to provide work for the junior lawyers, provide guidance and expertise to the junior lawyer and to teach them the business of law. The benefit for the senior lawyers would be that they could complete and get paid for the files that they have insufficient time to complete by paying the junior lawyer a reduced rate from the rate being charged to the client. Further, the senior lawyer could then be put into a position to take much need vacation and personal time to redevelop his or her desired lifestyle.

Lastly, if the junior and senior lawyers work well together, there is always to potential for the junior lawyers to become the buyers of the senior lawyers’ practice thereby giving the senior lawyers a retirement strategy that is usually not available to them when practicing on their own or in larger firms.
