Incorporating Your Business

When you are considering starting your own business and you are determining whether to incorporate or to conduct your business as a sole proprietor or partnership, you need to base your decision on the nature and extent of the liabilities that are associated with the operation of that type of business. The 2020 Law Group has worked with many individuals in many different businesses and is able to assist with that decision.

Our clients are surprised how easy the process to incorporate can be. After having either a brief telephone conversation with the client or having received answers to questions delivered by email, the 2020 Law Group is able to complete the incorporation process within a time frame that meets the client's requirements. Most clients will have a single meeting with the lawyer to sign their Corporate Minute Book documents and leave with all of the documentation they require to open their bank account and obtain their GST Number.

If you have determined that your business needs to be incorporated, you can access our Form to Incorporate and submit it to our office through our website or by fax (403-255-4224). A representative of 2020 Law Group will contact you to advise when your corporation will be ready and to set up an appointment with one of the lawyers.
