The 2020 Law Group has represented many clients that have secured opportunities to borrow money from traditional banks and private lenders. Prior to advancing the funds to be borrowed, lawyers for lenders deliver a series of security documents that must be signed by the borrower along with a lengthy list of instructions and requirements that must be satisfied. The documents and instructions vary depending on whether the borrower is purchasing land or looking to secure operating capital. In both cases, special care and attention to detail are critical.

When representing borrowers, the 2020 Law Group works closely with their clients to ensure that their clients fully understand the security documents that they are required to sign and to obtain and prepare the supporting documentation that will be required by the lender.

Once all of required documentation has been signed by the client, the 2020 Law Group will be in a position to register the documents and sign the legal opinion letter. When the funds are received from the lender or its lawyer, the 2020 Law Group will direct the funds to the parties designated by the client and the lender in an orderly fashion and then report to the client.
