Reid Schmidt

Reid has been working with his clients and the maximization of their Corporate / Commercial and Intellectual Property opportunities since 1995. Reid's clients seek his input in the development of their businesses with such input including:

Development of their business strategies;
Securing their rights to their real, personal and intellectual property and current and future revenue streams;
Negotiating and drafting of contracts;
Licensing of their technology, trademarks and business concepts;
Establishment of their financing from traditional and non-traditional lenders; and
Registration of their trademarks and copyright rights.

Reid is a strong advocate of involving children in sport activities. As a director of the KidSport Society of Alberta (www.kidsport.ca) and former chair of KidSport Calgary, Reid believes that by involving children in organized sport, they will become physically, mentally and socially stronger, and will become future leaders in our community. Reid is also an active participant in organized physical activities and you will often find Reid instructing his cycling classes at the YMCA or on the soccer field coaching his daughters' teams.
